Local artist, Mary Cross from Organic Matters, is back in our Corner Yard for this full-day basketry workshop on Friday 17th May!

Whether you’ve tried willow weaving before or are a complete novice, Mary will guide you through each step to create a lovely framed berry basket, perfect for foraging or simple looking beautiful in your home or garden!

One of the earliest styles of basket ever discovered, you will begin by creating two rings that are joined together with a gods eye, before adding the rest of the framework and weaving to create this gorgeous creation!

All tuition and materials are included in the day, as well as lunch and refreshments from Newton Farm Cafe.
